Trollbeads World Tour: Germany

The Trollbeads World Tour continues, and today we are introduced to the Collection that honours Germany.

Pictured above are the four newest beads…

The Brandenberg Gate “The beautiful old city gate build in 1791, now located in the heart of Berlin, is today a main symbol of peace and a reunited Germany. Note the little fragment of the wall with the letters FREE on it.”

The Garden Gnome: “25 million in Germany alone, these popular, but controversial little creatures often find themselves in the centre of a heated debate, on good or bad taste? In an act of support The Garden Gnome Liberationists are known to kidnap them and send them on trips around the world!”

The Volkswagen Beetle: “The VW is the classical German car, now sold all over the world. It’s the essence of sturdiness and good quality. Volkswagen means “peoples car” in German.”

The Frog Prince: “…a frog put its head out of the water and said; ”Princess, why do you weep so bitterly?” “My golden ball has fallen into the spring”. The princess answered. “If you will love me.” The frog said. “And let me eat from your golden plate, and sleep upon your bed, I will bring you back your ball.””

We’re already big fans of these new designs… who hasn’t driven a beetle at one time or another? …and the frog is so sweet!
