Trollbeads Design Challenge: Day 7

IMG_5621

Today I was craving the inky blues that are everywhere this season…

IMG_5616

IMG_5617we saw a tiny wave of uniques in this subtle navy tone very early in the year and were dismayed when they vanished after only one precious batch.  Now that we’ve seen the 2014 Summer limited edition series of glass in the same colour family we understand that those early uniques were simply a hint of what was to come!

IMG_5619I didn’t think I had enough navy in my collection to put together an entire bracelet composition, but somehow I managed to stretch those few beads, sprinkling them through the length of the bracelet and scattering them among silvers as well as neutral creams and whites.  After the challenge last year, deep blues were one of the colours I felt I was lacking.

IMG_5622Fortunately, over the past year the artisans at Troll have created an array of stunning Blue Deserts and Azure Bubbles that were completely and totally irresistible.  Add to that a Sapphire and a nice little unique meteor and my family of deep blues expanded just enough to streeeetch and fill a bracelet.
