Shamila’s love of jewellery design was born during her childhood in East Africa, when she accompanied her Father to the goldsmith when he designed gifts for her Mother…
Now she uses her artist’s eye to select unique cuts and shades of the most beautiful coloured gemstones: labradorite, chalcedony, lemon quartz, rhodolite garnets and so many others… The stones are delicately placed in minimalist sterling or goldfilled settings that allow each jewel to truly shine. The details of each piece are perfectly wrought – notice the complementary stones and graceful clasps that adorn the back of her necklaces…
